Ooh. Good ones!
Sarcastic notes to your kid’s teachers!
Or beautifully written “here’s what your child did in art class today” messages to parents!
Sarcastic notes back to parents!
On a more realistic note, I have been brush lettering my instructions for some of my art classes. The kids love it and some have checked Olive’s tutorials!
Other issues get a phone call?
Passive Aggressive notes is the greatest.
I use brush lettering for post-it note messages and my whiteboard.
I hand write my fill in the blank quizzes, then in the space at the bottom, brush letter a quote for my 6th graders.
Beautiful wall decor to remind kids to wash their hands or pick up after themselves. Positive Affirmations to encourage myself and others. Instructions to visitors at parties (place gifts here or enjoy the buffet)
I moved to Switzerland few years ago and am (trying to) learn German. So I write the new words I learn. I figured I have write and re-write them to remember words anyway, I might as well practice brush lettering. German words are SO long and use funny combination of alphabets (compared to English)… not to mention they don’t roll off the tongue beautifully like Italian and French so it’s not as artistic as I like it to be…
awesome thank you
